The manuscript Gotha orient. A 2341 makes clear that Aḥmad al-mujallid b. Sālim al-muṭāliʽ shaykh ṭā’ifat al-muṭāliʽīn is his son and Sālim, therefore, a professional reciter of the biography of the prophet and epic texts as well as the head of his profession's guild. |
