Reader of Gotha orient. A 1659 (1154). Copyist (between 1161 and 1163) of Berlin Wetzstein II 1233 (here we also find on fol. 69r a biography of his father, an otherwise unknown, apparently popular poet from Ḥamāh). Date of birth taken from a note in Leipzig Vollers 716. The terminus post quem for the date of death is conjectured from his mention in a note dated 1203 (about the lending of book?) in Berlin Wetzstein II 1786. |
