Die meisten dieser Handschriften stammten aus dem Vorbesitz des Altdorfer Professors für orientalische Sprachen Daniel Schwenter (1585-1636) und wurden 1641 sicher über dessen Sohn Johann Daniel Schwenter angekauft, welcher die Handschriften seines Vaters, jedoch offenbar nicht alle, 1641 an die Altdorfer Bibliothek vermachte. |
